As web development experts, we were commissioned for the redesign of Alban Guilmet’s e-commerce site under WooCommerce, with clear objectives to improve the customer experience and maximize online sales:

Key Axes of the Solution
For the redesign of Alban Guilmet’s e-commerce site, we opted for WooCommerce, a flexible platform that perfectly meets the needs of a chocolatier and pastry shop. This solution allows Alban Guilmet to have a site that is both modern and high-performing, where the customer experience and product quality are highlighted at every stage of the purchase.
The idea was to make the site as elegant and refined as his creations. We focused on a meticulous visual presentation of the products, with clear and fluid navigation so that customers can easily find what they are looking for. Features such as automated cross-selling and up-selling were integrated, as well as reassurance content (customer reviews, FAQ, information on delivery, in-store pickup, and return policy) to guide and reassure visitors. The connection to the ERP allows for smooth management of stocks, products, and orders, with real-time updates.
Optimized and Anticipated Purchasing Experience
To simplify the purchase, we optimized delivery methods, particularly with Click & Collect. A pre-order feature was also developed for strategic periods, such as the end-of-year holidays: Christmas logs can thus be reserved as early as November, allowing Alban Guilmet better anticipation of orders and optimized production management.
