Introducing La Coopérative de Mai

The European stage made in Clermont.

An essential venue in the Clermont music scene, La Coopérative de Mai (La Coopé) has been programming nationally and internationally renowned artists for over twenty years. But that’s not all. La Coopé is above all a crossroads of culture and exchange, an area of expression for the New French and local Scene, an incubator to support innovative musical projects, and a venue for artistic and stage residencies.

 

We almost forgot something! La Coopé is also THE French stage that hosts Europavox, the European festival of the latest musical trends. Suffice it to say that at DBM, we are happy to support this Clermont venue that many French cities envy. It’s true that with over 130 concerts per year and an incredible music program, La Coopérative de Mai plays in the big leagues, and we are proud to be part of it!

The Challenge

For over 10 years, DBM has been supporting La Coopé in its digital strategy. In 2023, the stakes remain the same:

  • Provide La Coopé with a website commensurate with its national ambitions
  • Give pride of place to images and video
  • Favor visual and intuitive navigation and easy searching for artists and dates

Key Axes of the Solution

For La Coopé’s design, we wanted to make a strong impact. Instantly, upon viewing the site’s homepage, the visitor had to be immersed in the venue’s atmosphere. To feel as close as possible to the artists. They also had to be able to instantly grasp the upcoming dates.

 

Our graphic, UX, and UI designers did an excellent job on the image, the use of space, and the navigation. They invented an original, quirky, and deconstructed look for our favorite concert venue, reflecting its eclectic programming. All of this is extremely easy to use, both on computers and mobile devices.

 

But, despite the site’s apparent simplicity, let’s not be mistaken. Everything is there: the presentation of evenings and artists, online ticketing, the shop with a separate cart, streaming radio broadcast, and even since the latest version, a blog. A stylish showcase for a stage that has become essential.
