Introducing Maison THEVENON

Chic fabrics and wallpapers

Maison Thevenon is first and foremost a family story built over time, with passion and values. Chic prints, sophisticated jacquards, revisited Toiles de Jouy, vibrant embroideries, delicate plains, technical fabrics… the fabrics edited by Maison Thevenon are classic, luxurious, and harmonious. In collaboration with designers, stylists, and interior architects, the house constantly innovates and develops its collections of furnishing fabrics and wallpaper to create endless decor possibilities.

 

While created in France, Thevenon workshops also print and weave each fabric in Italy, Spain, and Belgium. Their wallpapers are entirely manufactured in France.

 

In a constant pursuit of aesthetics, each product exudes precious singularity and testifies to the creativity and expertise of the Maison. A true source of inspiration for the DBM team.

The Challenge

The DBM team was asked to meet the following objectives:

  • Redesign the Magento site under Woocommerce
  • Convey the history, know-how, and image of the house through the content
  • Create an optimized navigation path while separating the showcase section and the shop section
  • Optimize the browsing experience through internal linking
  • Offer a user experience consistent with the brand’s high-end positioning

The Strong Axes of the Solution

The combination of the showcase section and the shop section was at the heart of our concerns. We optimized the site’s architecture and streamlined access to information to provide greater clarity on the issues and possibilities the site offers. While offering a user-friendly environment, functionalities consistent with the navigation habits and expectations of internet users were implemented: filter menu, sticky product information, moodboard of inspirations and trends (WordPress blog), newsletter, YouTube interview videos, Social Wall…

 

For the showcase section, we highlighted the excellence of the know-how and the qualities of Maison Thevenon, both in terms of content and graphics. We developed a new page that individually presents each collection of fabrics, in the manner of a catalog.

 

This allowed us to distinctly separate the brand content and the shop content. It is possible to add the fabric to a Wishlist and filter the catalog page according to preferences: colors, style, type…

Réalisation

To optimize the browsing experience, internal linking was carried out: each product sheet is linked to products from the same collection in different colors. A technical sheet is also associated with each fabric or wallpaper, and some link back to the shop’s product page.

 

The e-commerce section offers all models available for sale. Purchases are made by the meter, there are no shipping costs, payment is possible only by credit card, and the site only delivers in France. All these configurations were taken into account by our team.

 

We created a product catalog with a clean design and large-format visuals to highlight the products of Maison Thevenon.

 

Finally, a store locator was developed by our teams to geolocate the Maison’s resellers.
