Discovering the Auvergne volcanic territories
Since 2017, each spring, in the exceptional landscapes of the Volcans d’Auvergne Regional Natural Park, an incredible adventure takes place: VVX, Volvic Volcans Experience.
The program is built around six trail races, including the XGTV, the Grand Volcanic Crossing over a course of 224 kilometers and 8,400 meters of positive elevation gain. Also offered are hikes, sporting initiations, guided visits, and the now‑unmissable VVX Kids for children.
But VVX is also an opportunity to discover (or rediscover) our magnificent region of volcanoes, earth and water. A meeting for sports enthusiasts and nature lovers to enjoy moments of shared athletic challenge, wonder, and self-transcendence in lush, well-preserved nature.

The Challenge
After an initial website built by our agency, VVX requested DBM for an ergonomic redesign of the solution in order to:
- Offer a complete agenda by date and by theme
- List all useful information for participants
- Provide an experience better adapted to mobile browsing habits

Key Pillars of the Solution
To improve the satisfaction of VVX website users, the DBM Team imagined a new, more user‑friendly environment and features better aligned with users’ needs. The new site pages were designed Mobile First, with an immersive presentation aimed at inducing a sense of fusion with nature. New concepts also made room for more useful content sought by participants (programming, event pages, practical info).
Our talented developers created this site with WordPress, integrating notably the Sportips technical module for registration management. A project turned into reality and full of promise for this ambitious event.
